People seek therapy for a variety of issues, but one common feeling most of us experience is awkwardness when beginning therapy with someone new. It’s normal to feel uncomfortable when you try something new for the first time, especially your own therapy. I have been there myself, and I know firsthand how uncomfortable and hard it can be to open up to someone new in therapy. However, in order for therapy to be effective, it is extremely important that you work with someone you feel comfortable and compatible with.
My style is interactive and collaborative. I believe that my relationship with you is unique and personal. The therapeutic relationship we build is a professional relationship, bound by confidentiality, which exists solely for the purpose of helping you. It is different from all other relationships in your life and has the power to help you attain whatever it is that you are seeking.
